The client wanted a mobile app where the admin could login and assign cases to the lawyers working with the Client’s Law firm. Once the cases got assigned to the respective lawyers the app allows the lawyers to log in and update their expenses, time spent, charges and other information pertaining to the cases assigned to them.

Solution

We at Volga Infotech developed an mobile app for the client with the following features and functions.

• Client Matters
  This section allows the admin to log in to the app add the name of the Clients and give a brief description about their cases and assign the same to the lawyers.
• Add Staff
  This section allows the admin to login to the app and add new lawyers to the firm or make changes to the contact info of the existing ones.
• Budget Details
  Budget Details page that provides for maintaining leverage, resources, hours, billing rates, costs, and expenses. Also provides for various views into the scenario (by timekeeper, by phase, by task, by period, etc.)
• Time & Expense
  The lawyers or the admin can login to the app and use this section to log the information related to time spent, charges or expenses on a particular case.
• Invoices and Payments
  This section allows the admin to generate the invoice at any given point during a case. It reflects the amount payable to the law firm by it’s clients.
• Report Generation
  The admin can choose to generate reports on daily, weekly or monthly basis depending upon his choice. The reports once generated can be sent to the Law firm’s clients notifying him about the amount he owes to the law firm.
